A Healing drum circle is any group of people playing African hand-drums and percussion in a circle. They are distinct from a drumming group or troupe in that the healing drum circle is an end in itself rather than preparation for a performance. Fallaw LLC Health and Wellness is happy to partner with the Multicultural Kids Network to learn and promote the African heritage, as well as provide cultural healing techniques such as healing group drumming and Bantu teachings.
This course will introduce the fundamentals of African Drumming, Rhythm and Movements in African Healing Modalities. It is a combination of fun and serious African healing drumming and movements with native Africans using Authentic Djun djun, Djembe, and Shekere to play traditional rhythms while speaking in Wolof.
