Empowering children with ancient and traditional African method.

“One person can make all the difference for a child across the globe. Multicultural Kids Network
is a living proof of that, although helping just one person can seem like a drop in the ocean,
that drop can be a person’s whole world. One by one… we will change the world for the
better as it takes a village to raise a child.”

Executive Director and Founder of the Multicultural Kids Network

Meme Samba Fall

One and One African Therapy!

BANTU HEALING PROJETS and Supports

Throughout history, Bantu people have implemented drumming into various healing rituals. Specifically, djembe drumming has been used as a therapeutic rhythm technique in West African cultures for centuries. Today, research has verified that drumming is still an antidote to our modern-day ailments. In fact, people of all ages and walks of life are picking up a djembe and discovering the multitude of benefits this activity offers.

Growth and development

it takes a village to raise and children and multicultural kids network always grow and develop African centered program to guide our families through Group drumming. Group drumming, or drum circles, produce a powerful sense of connectedness with others. Group drumming also allows for self-expression, and at the same time discourages self-centeredness and isolation from the group. It provides an authentic experience of unity and physiological synchronicity. If we put people together who are out of sync with themselves (i.e., diseased, addicted) and help them experience the phenomenon of entrainment, it is possible for them to feel with and through others what it is like to be synchronous in a state of proverbial connectedness.

Transition and growing independence

Motivated to create a change in African families, Samba became an advocate for this alternative form of healing, and worked tirelessly to connect with schools, communities, clinics, and health organizations throughout the Twin Cities. His passion for creating greater access to these effective treatment options for communities brought him into a productive working relationship with many organizations throughout the world..
